meet our founders.
Established November 2020.
Power To Her was born out of a shared recognition of the systemic barriers and hardships that women continue to face worldwide. In reflecting on their own lived experiences with sexism, inequality, and the everyday challenges of navigating spaces not built for women, Shuchi and Sachreet realized the urgent need for a platform dedicated to women's empowerment, advocacy, and change.
Determined to transform frustration into action, they came together to create Power To Her, a nonprofit committed to dismantling gender-based inequalities and returning power to women in every sphere of life. Guided by passion, conviction, and a vision for a more just world, they strive to provide women with the resources, community, and support to live authentically, unapologetically, and free from the constraints of systemic oppression.

Shuchi Jain
FOUNDER
Shuchi is an accomplished scholar and advocate with an academic background spanning an iBBA, LLB, and GPLLM. Her professional and academic journey has taken her across Asia, Europe, and North America, providing her with a global perspective on the persistent inequalities that women face. Previously, she worked at a legal aid clinic in the United Kingdom, supporting women in difficult circumstances, an experience that fuels her commitment to using the law as a tool for empowerment and will continue this work in Canada.
Deeply shaped by her own life experiences with sexism, misogyny, and systemic barriers, Shuchi founded Power To Her as a platform to challenge these inequities and empower women worldwide. Her mission is to amplify voices, foster support, and inspire others to advocate for women’s rights with courage and conviction.
